Zeigler Ford of North Riverside is about 25-minutes away from Oak Lawn and worth the drive. Start by heading west on US-12 West and US-20 West and West 95th Street toward South 51st Avenue. Shortly after you pass the Potbelly Sandwich Shop on your left, you will take the exit onto IL-43 North and South Harlem Avenue. In 6.5 miles, you will pass a Dunkin's on your right. Then you will come to an intersection with Chick-fil-a on your left and McDonalds on your right you will drive straight through this intersection, and we will be just up ahead on your left.
About Oak Lawn IL
Oak Lawn is a suburb of Chicago. It is located in Cook County, Illinois. In 1909, Oak Lawn was incorporated as a village. The city maintains an extensive park system, including everything from small corner play lots to the 38-acre Centennial Park. Over 300 acres of parks, recreational facilities, and open land within the city limits. These include playgrounds, walking paths, baseball fields, basketball, volleyball, tennis courts, outdoor swimming pools, an indoor ice arena, two fitness centers, and an 18-hole golf course. Each area in Oak Lawn has its recreational area, totaling 22 parks. Starting in 2002, downtown Oak Lawn began a massive redevelopment program. Eventually, several square blocks were leveled, making room for several multistories, high-end condominium complexes with retail space on the main floors. Part of the project was expanding the Metra commuter train station that houses a retail/office center and a new children's museum. As a result, downtown Oak Lawn as seen today, bears little resemblance to the downtown from 2002 when the project started.
