The Chevrolet Bolt EUV is part of a new generation of electric and hybrid cars that are becoming more and more commonplace in the U.S. The Bolt EUV boasts futuristic lines and modest exterior dimensions; however, it makes excellent use of interior space with seating for five plus luggage. The base Bolt EUV comes well equipped with features like keyless entry, LED headlamps, Android Auto/Apple Carplay, dual USB ports, even GM's Teen driver assist mode and 10 air bags. Propulsion comes from an advanced electric drivetrain that pairs wonderfully with the AC synchronous motor with a huge 65-kWh lithium-ion battery pack that carries an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty. It produces 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque that can advance the Bolt EUV from 0-60 mph in under 7 seconds. In addition to its standard 110V charging system, Bolt EV owners can opt for a 240V home-charging setup that cuts battery replenishment time to about nine hours or available DC Fast Charging capability that can add 90 miles of range in 30 minutes. When upgrading to the Premier trim, standard features include unique 17-inch machined aluminum wheels, outside side mirror indicators, roof rails, leather seats, front and rear heated seats, Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Rear Park Assist and rear Camera Mirror, ambient lighting, and surround vision a 4-camera system that creates a bird's-eye view of the vehicle and its immediate surroundings. A highlight of the 2022 Bolt EUV is the addition of Super Cruise which functions with Chevrolet Connected Services and uses real-time precise positioning cameras, sensors and LiDAR map data to help detect curves, helping to make long drives and commutes comfortable. With an attentive driver, and under the proper conditions, Super Cruise-equipped vehicles can permit hands-free operation of the vehicle.
